Getting to know Melinda Rose

Hello fellow humans! I practice from a client-centered, harm-reduction, trauma- and culture-informed approach. I have a history of working with adolescents with Developmental Delays and a background in Behavior Therapy. I earned my Master's in Counseling from California State University, Sacramento. I believe that clients, as humans, have the answers, and as clinicians, we are granted special permission to join clients in helping to understand and adapt their stories. I openly seek opportunities to promote wellness and connect with others within our community and with families to promote overall systemic health. I have learned that genuine relationships, clear and direct communication, a sense of humor, and the ability and willingness to adapt are the keys to this work we do.
