I would like to acknowledge and welcome you for taking a bold first step toward your wellness and recovery journey. My goal is the prevention and reduction of risk factors for emotional and behavioral problems and the promotion of mental health wellness. Utilizing evidence-based practices, I will work with you to help you learn to manage your difficult emotions and develop tools that work for you. I believe once something becomes shareable, it becomes more bearable. I hold a Master's in Social Work from the University of Southern California. I have experience working with diverse populations including children and families, adolescents, homeless individuals, veterans, survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault, those struggling with addiction, co-occurring disorders, personality disorders, and various life challenges.

What should a new client know about working with you?

With everything going on in the world, it may seem like things cannot get any better. The many challenges, changes, and stressors faced may seem overwhelming. I am here to help you navigate through these challenges in a safe space where you can learn to overcome, heal and grow from these life experiences.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.

I thought the session went well overall. I do wish the therapist had introduced herself more and shared a bit about her usual approach, especially since it was our first meeting—but otherwise, it was a good experience.
