“Malissa was absolutely wonderful. The only thing that was missing for me was the mental health part and personality disorder for my husband issues. I didn’t really feel completely understood because she didn’t have experience with that. If I didn’t have that issue, I would’ve stayed with her. I will miss her.”

Getting to know Melissa Perry

Welcome to my practice! I enjoy helping people heal, which can mean a variety of things. You may need help with coping skills to deal with anxiety, depression, or increasing emotional regulation so you feel more at ease in life. We might need to heal because we've lost someone we've loved, or maybe you've lost a sense of yourself due to trauma, career change, divorce, or family restructuring. Life transitions can be profoundly devastating but also may be a time of valuable change. I enjoy helping people develop into a version of themselves that aligns with their sense of authenticity. From this place, we work to grow a stronger sense of self, where you feel more confident as you navigate life's many challenges. I hold a Master's in Counseling Psychology from Dominican University of California, which informs my compassionate and personalized approach to therapy.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
