Hello! Hola! My name is Melissa Servin and I am a bicultural and bilingual (English/ Spanish) Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Southern California (San Diego). I received my Masters from California State University San Marcos in 2018. I am here to assist you through your daily stressors, grief, depression, and/or anxiety. My clinical expertise is focused on depression, life stressors, grief, loss, and trauma. I make an effort to provide a safe environment for my patient to help them feel empowered and be able to share their experiences and challenges. Together, we can identify unhealthy thought patterns that will assist in developing better coping mechanisms to be able to foster a healing environment where growth is promoted. Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
