Navigating parenthood can be hard, and sometimes we need extra support. If you are feeling overwhelmed or watching your child struggle with anxiety, fear, anger, big emotions, tantrums, big transitions, or difficult behaviors, you’ve come to the right place. I work with children of all ages and their grown-ups, utilizing a collaborative, play-based approach to healing. I am passionate about family work and harnessing the therapeutic power of play to help children naturally work through their challenges. Play is the “language” in which children communicate in a non-threatening way. Just as adults "talk" things out, children play.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Every client is different, and I don't take a one size fits all approach. A strong therapeutic relationship is crucial and I strive to meet my clients where they are at, build on their strengths, & support them collaboratively in accomplishing their goals. For children, I strongly believe that families play a crucial role in how children develop & heal. The level of involvement from parents & caregivers will look different from family to family, but in my experience, children heal faster when we all work together. My goal is to build rapport with both, the child & the caregiver. My approaches work best with caregivers who are open to feedback & education to help meet their childs therapeutic needs & goals.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
