Getting to know Melissa Williams

I am enthusiastic about the work I do and the people I work with. I have worked in the behavioral health field for thirty years. I graduated with both my masters degree in agency counseling and bachelors degree in psychology from Appalachian State University located in Boone, NC. I am a licensed clinical mental health counselor LCMHC and a licensed clinical addiction specialist LCAS with a wealth of experience working with adults who are challenged by mental health symptoms and substance misuse. I also have expertise in working with womens specific issues, trauma related challenges and OCD. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, family time and dancing.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
