What should a new client know about working with you?

Choosing the "right fit" when engaging in therapy is one of the most important pieces of the journey. Melony strives to create an environment of trust so that vulnerability can be attained and healing can begin. She uses somatic techniques, mindfulness, emotion and art to move through spaces. She naturally includes humor in conversation and sessions.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

After you book with Melony, please expect an email within 24 hours confirming your appointment and a link to get started with intake paperwork/setting up your accout. This process is required wether sessions are in person or virtual. Sessions often include talk therapy, emotional exploration and vulnerability. Sessions including mindfulness techniques and learning how to listen to the body and mind when emotions may feel big or overwhelming. Session mean feeling safe and your voice is heard.

Payment is due at the time of service. Melony uses Simple Practice as a HIPAA compliant electronic record and when utilizing payment via card, payments are processed through Carepatron. Check, cash is also acceptable. Solasta Inclusive Therapy/Melony accepts insurance via connection to Headway. A superbill will be provided upon request if the client would like to seek reimbursment. Reimbursement is not guarenteed and dependent upon your health insurance.
