My journey to mental healthcare My path towards becoming a mental health provider began while helping protect children and vulnerable adults resulting from abuse, neglect, and abandonment. As a provider, I am now able to continue working with clients and can have discussions that shift from "What's wrong with you?" to "What happened to you?" My goals for you Therapy is a collaborative effort, and as such, I practice using a client-centered problem-solving approach. I tailor my approach to each client's specific and unique needs while encouraging active participation. My first session with you Let's get to know each other and discuss what brings you to therapy. It’s normal to feel nervous and not know what to expect. However, we will take one step at a time and focus on your specific needs.
