Psychotherapist
CA
Are you feeling overwhelmed or stuck in a cycle? You are not alone. I help clients navigate anxiety, work-life balance, life changes, and self-doubt with compassion and care. My focus I work with all adults struggling with anxiety, depression, addiction, or just navigating through life changes. Together, we will build coping skills and create a personalized plan for growth that feels achievable and empowering. My approach I use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to help you navigate through anxiety/stress and reshape unhelpful thinking patterns. My approach is collaborative, working with you to explore tools that can help you feel more in control. I may also incorporate mindfulness and other techniques to support your unique goals and progress. My communication style I believe in open communication and providing a non-judgmental and safe space to discuss matters that are important to you. I practice active and reflective listening and will give you opportunities to reflect on your experiences. My journey to mental healthcare My therapy journey began after working in the health education field for several years. I realized I had a desire to help individuals on a deeper level and became more curious about human resilience. I had a desire to help those find strength through life's challenges. I am a firm believer that we all have the capacity to heal and grow. My goals for you I believe that therapy is a partnership; I work with your level of readiness and help you set goals that are meaningful to you. We will adapt your plan to stay meaningful and supportive as you make progress and gain new insights. Our first session Your first session is a chance for us to become familiar with each other and for me to understand your goals for therapy. It is normal to have some anxiety; this is a process, and rest assure we will move at your pace. I will be here to support and guide you through the process.
