Hello, my name is Mia Henry. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 26 years of professional experience. I earned my Master’s in Social Work from Florida State University. My approach I use a client-centered and solution-focused approach in helping my patients. I also use a cognitive-behavioral approach to assist patients with understanding how their thoughts affect their behavior. I help patients develop self-awareness of their current thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I strive to empower my patients to build feelings of self-worth and confidence. My focus I have provided therapy to patients with a history of anxiety, depression, PTSD, grief issues, marital and family challenges, substance abuse, low self-esteem, and trauma.
