Taking care of ourselves is not a luxury; it is a necessity that our society has long disguised as a waste of time. Today, evidence proves that if we reduce stress through self-care, we can increase our overall well-being. My favorite aspect of therapy is helping my clients find what works for them. I provide a comfortable space to help you create your ongoing story and become the best version of yourself. My approach I use CBT to help you explore how your thoughts and beliefs influence the way you navigate the world. Together, we can work on identifying and challenging thoughts and beliefs that do not align with your new narrative for your life. My focus If life has begun to feel heavy and unmanageable, I would love to assist with developing coping skills that fit your needs and abilities. My communication style I use empathy and supportive listening during my sessions to ensure that my clients feel comfortable expressing themselves. I also use reflections to help bring insight and provide an opportunity for self-reflection. My journey to mental healthcare When I was younger, my family noticed that I had an uncanny level of empathy and could instantly pick up on the emotions of people around me. Later in life, after facing struggles of my own and understanding the unique challenges of belonging to the human family, I discovered my destiny in life was to help others find their own resilience, challenges they never thought would be possible. My goals for you Therapy is a partnership. I believe every person is an expert on their own lives, and with your expertise and my outside perspective, we can identify your challenges and create therapy goals that are beneficial and achievable for you. My first session with you During our first session, I will focus on getting to know you. I want you to feel heard and understand the different ways I can support you during your mental health journey.
