Hi there, I'm Michael! Therapy doesn’t always need to be focused on fixing. Sometimes we just need to slow things down enough to better understand what's driving unwanted behaviors, relationships, patterns, etc. The goal isn't to become someone else; the goal is to gain insight into your thoughts, behaviors, emotions, patterns, and to be fully yourself, now! My focus People come to therapy for many reasons. Often, it includes experiences like stagnancy, dysfunctional relationships, grief and loss, anxious thoughts, self doubt, questions of identity or purpose, or struggles with habits or substances that no longer feel healthy. I'll go where you want to take me and then help you find your way back home. My approach My work is shaped by the belief that healing isn’t mechanical. It happens through relationship, attentiveness, and the willingness to slow down enough to tell the truth about our lives. Therapy, for me, is not about fixing someone into an ideal version of themselves, but about creating space for clarity, flexibility, and deeper alignment over time. My communication style Therapy with me is conversational and collaborative, guided by curiosity rather than a fixed agenda. We'll slow things down. Talk. Reflect. I draw from different perspectives as needed, staying responsive to what’s present rather than following a rigid script. Insight and change tend to emerge through honest dialogue and careful attention. My journey to mental healthcare I've always been drawn to how others feel and think and practice life. And I noticed from a young age that I had the capacity to see from the perspectives of others, to suspend judgement, and to sit in the mystery of the unknown. So for me, therapy is a place where I get to be fully myself - stay curious, listen, and explore with compassion.
