Michael Gilkey, LPC

Psychotherapist
PA
I have been working in the mental health field for 10 years now. I started off as a wraparound working with children who have emotional, behavioral, and social problems in the home, school, and community. I worked in an autism support classroom in an elementary school for a few years. I have worked primarily in residential settings since then, graduating with my masters in Clinical Mental health Counseling in 2020. I recently attained my state license and was able to start my outpatient practice. I have experience working with people of varying ages and concerns. I am most familiar with personality disorders, mood disorders, and psychotic disorders and have built a plethora of skills, knowledge, and resources to help target these concerns. I have always been friends with the people who need one and my goal throughout life has always been to help improve the quality of life for those around me. My aim is to help you to feel better about yourself and your life, finding where you have control in life and circumstances, and how you can use that to feel more in confident and satisfied in your life.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
