All prescriptions furnished by UpLift Behavioral Health care providers are issued in accordance with applicable federal and state law as well as UpLift Behavioral Health policy. Within the structure of the therapeutic relationship, clients can access their inner strengths and promote change. Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psycho-Educational Therapy, Client-Centered Therapy, and Reality Therapy, Michaelle's theoretical approach is based on the belief that clients are in charge of their counseling experience. They will learn the bounds of aspects of their life that they can control and what they cannot. Clients will understand that the therapeutic relationship is a partnership in which they are expected to put in effort through homework, be accountable, and remain present within the counseling alliance. Michaelle's goal as a counselor is to provide a safe environment. She holds an MEd in Mental Health Counseling from Florida International University.
