“I came from Kaiser and have heard it is either hit or miss working with Kaiser. I am truly grateful to have been paired with Dr.Michela through them. Dr.Michela creates a very welcoming non-judgemental environment in our sessions. I feel comfortable sharing my stories with her and feel like I leave every session understanding more about my self and where I can make improvements.”

Getting to know Michela Passoni

I’m a licensed marriage & family therapist offering short-term therapy to individuals who feel overwhelmed, anxious, burned out, or disconnected underneath. My approach is humanistic and insight-oriented, grounded in curiosity, warmth, and deep respect for your lived experience. I believe therapy is not about fixing you - it’s about helping you understand yourself more clearly so you can move through life with greater intention, resilience, and connection.

What should a new client know about working with you?

In sessions, you can expect a safe, empathetic, and collaborative space to explore your concerns. I prioritize building a strong therapeutic relationship that fosters trust and mutual respect, allowing you to feel heard and validated. You will be encouraged to engage in a process of self-exploration and personal growth. I will help you tap into your inner resources and strengths. You will learn to identify and understand your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, empowering you to make more intentional and fulfilling life choices. Ultimately, you can expect to leave our sessions feeling more empowered, with a greater sense of self-awareness, and with the tools and insights needed to navigate life’s challenges with greater ease and resilience.

In-network insurances

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
