Michelle received her Bachelor of Science degree in Communications from St. John's University and went on to earn a Master of Arts degree in Counseling from Amberton University in Garland. Subsequently, she secured Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor status and her Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor credential. During her career, Michelle has served as the Clinical Director for Homeward Bound and Phoenix Houses of Texas, Lead Counselor for New Day Counseling, and Director of Residential and Outpatient Services for Daytop Village. This accounts for over 30 years of progressively responsible professional experience in the mental health and chemical dependency fields.
