Getting to know Michelle Jensen

Hi, my name is Michelle Jensen, and I'm glad you've taken the first step in seeking therapy. It can be difficult to trust a stranger with your most intimate thoughts, feelings, and concerns. I can assure you that I never judge. I am here for you, to help you through whatever issues might be in your life. I hold a license in Marriage and Family Therapy, which means I can help with just about any kind of issue, not only marriages and family concerns. I have been practicing professionally for 11 years. The approaches I use in therapy include CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), Solution Focused Therapy, Psychotherapy, Mindfulness Practices, and Person-Centered Therapy. I work with many emotional and behavioral issues, including depression, anxiety, grief/loss, women's health issues, post-traumatic stress disorder, attention deficit, low self-esteem, motivational challenges, confidence issues, personal growth, questions about the meaning of life, concerns about self-image, and building leadership skills. I earned my Master's in Psychology from California State University, Dominguez Hills. I am passionate about helping people gain the knowledge and skills they need to improve their lives. I am also dedicated to helping clients uncover blocked or stuck feelings and providing them with a safe space to feel supported.
