Getting to know Michelle McCullough

Life can be challenging and overwhelming, and I am here to help you on your path to creating positive changes in your life. I believe that, whatever your situation, there is hope and healing ahead. I will join you and support you on your journey through the change you want to effect. I help clients learn more about themselves to provide alleviation and comfort. I work with a wide range of struggles, including depression, anxiety, trauma, adjustment issues, and relationship conflicts, among other clinical concerns. Understanding our barriers and why they are present allows us to begin to shift them and grow within ourselves and our relationships. I hold a Master's in Social Work from Loyola University Chicago and a Bachelor's degree from Southeast Missouri State University, which have equipped me with the knowledge and skills to support you effectively.

What should a new client know about working with you?

*Please note I am not a psychiatrist and therefore I do not prescribe medications* Michelle is an accomplished clinician. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 19 years of experience working with all ages. Michelle received her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Southeast Missouri State University in 1999 and her graduate degree obtaining a Masters in Social Work from Loyola University Chicago in 2003. She has worked in outpatient mental health settings and in the private sector. She has worked with individuals, couples, and families. She has provided workshops for healthy relationships and has run various other support groups. Her approach is systems based, exploring not only current presenting problems, but also how a person’s environment impacts their progress and healing. Clients benefit from learning how to best navigate the different systems in their lives. In addition to the years of clinical services she has provided she also has 11 years of experience providing supervision and consultation to other professionals.
