Getting to know Michelle Pentell

I'm a LCSW with over 18 plus years experience in the helping field. I've worked in a variety of settings throughout the years, from schools, hospitals to outpatient mental health to name a few. I graduated with a B.S. in Rehabilitation Psychology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and received my Masters in Social work in social work at Columbia University, NY. I'm currently licensed in California. I see adult individuals for therapy only (not accepting couples, minors, or family for therapy sessions). I'm here to provide a confidential and non judgmental ear, to help you with problems you don't feel comfortable sharing with family/friends. I work together with clients to identify goals for therapy and to help clients develop and learn coping skills to manage life's challenges. I love what I do and genuinely look forward to working with you.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
