Psychotherapist
CA
Hi there, I'm Michelle! I am a dedicated and compassionate therapist with a passion for helping kiddos, adolescents, and young adults navigate the challenges of anxiety, depression, relationships, and other life stressors that come up along the way. My goal is to provide a safe and nurturing environment where you can explore your emotions, develop effective coping strategies, and ultimately find your path to emotional well-being and resilience. I earned my Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University, which has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to support my clients effectively. I have a special affinity for working with children, adolescents, and young adults. I understand that these stages of life can be particularly challenging, as individuals navigate the complexities of growing up, forming their identities, and facing various life stressors. Anxiety and depression are common struggles during this period, and I am dedicated to helping young clients build the skills they need to manage these emotions and overcome obstacles. I believe in a holistic approach to therapy that goes beyond traditional talk therapy. While verbal communication is crucial, I also recognize the value of non-verbal forms of expression. That's why I integrate activities such as art, mindfulness, and games with the little ones into my practice. These creative outlets can be powerful tools for self-discovery and healing, especially for young clients who may struggle to express themselves through words alone. With the right guidance and support, you can learn to manage your emotions, develop resilience, and find a sense of peace and purpose in your life. I am committed to walking this journey with you, offering my expertise, empathy, and encouragement every step of the way.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
