Psychotherapist
OH
I work with teens and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, PTSD, and life transitions. I've spent years providing crisis care to children, teens, and families, and working with adults facing complex mental health challenges. When I'm not in session, I'm spending time with my family and planning my next adventure. My focus I enjoy working with teens and adults struggling with life transitions, social or work challenges, depression, anxiety, PTSD, trauma history, and addiction. I also support active duty service members and veterans managing mental health challenges. My approach My therapy approach is tailored to each client's unique needs and preferences. I see myself as the navigation system while you're the driver—this is your journey to learn more about yourself and find balance. I frequently use approaches that are trauma-informed and build trust, creating a positive experience as we work together. My communication style I provide my undivided attention through active listening, allowing you to speak without interruption, and validating your feelings and concerns. I may repeat what you've shared to ensure I fully understand your experience. My journey to mental healthcare After a life event led me to explore new career paths, I searched for work that would allow me to give back to my community and help those in need. Teaching, marketing, and other fields came to mind, but nothing felt right until I took a class that opened my eyes to this profession. My goals for you Setting goals is the map to your journey through therapy, so I listen carefully to what you want to achieve. Goals look different for each person, and I help you process what's most important to focus on while providing insight when needed. Our first session Our first session will consist of a psychosocial assessment so I can learn more about your history and immediate family mental health history.
