Psychotherapist
CA
I believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship as a catalyst for change and strive to create a collaborative and empowering environment for my clients. Whether you're struggling with addiction, processing traumatic experiences, or seeking to improve your relationships, I am here to support you with empathy, expertise, and practical tools to help you move toward a more fulfilling and authentic life. My approach is integrative and client-centered, drawing from the following modalities: Psychoanalysis, exploring unconscious patterns and early childhood experiences that shape current behavior; Object Relations Theory, understanding how early relationships influence adult dynamics and self-perception; Gestalt Therapy, emphasizing present-moment awareness, personal responsibility, and the integration of mind, body, and emotions; and EMDR, using bilateral stimulation to help clients process and heal from traumatic memories. I am committed to helping individuals and couples navigate the complexities of addiction, trauma, and relationship challenges. My communication style focuses on mindfulness, compassion, and body-centered techniques to create a safe and empowering space for clients to explore their emotions, release stored trauma, and cultivate resilience. My journey to becoming a therapist has been deeply personal and professionally fulfilling, shaped by personal experiences and inspired by the resilience and growth of my clients. This journey motivated me to earn my Master's in Counseling Psychology from California Baptist University and continues to inspire me to learn, grow, and refine my approach to better support those I work with. Goal setting is a collaborative and client-centered process that ensures each goal is meaningful, achievable, and aligned with the client's values and needs.
