Getting to know Mirella Mendoza

I am passionate about working with adults who are experiencing and dealing with depression, anxiety, PTSD, panic attacks, work stress, addiction, life transitions and changes, grief, divorce, and relationship issues. I have experience supporting those who have endured childhood trauma, physical abuse, sexual abuse, neglect, substance use and addiction, domestic violence, parenting challenges, loss of children, separation from parents, family court and CPS issues, and foster care placements. My approach integrates psychodynamic, logotherapy, solution-focused, strength-based, mindfulness, person-centered, and motivational interviewing techniques. I hold a Master’s in Social Work from California State University, Stanislaus. My goal is to help you find and gain self-fulfillment, happiness, positive self-esteem, and autonomy in your life while teaching you healthy coping skills to navigate life’s challenges and changes. I believe that providing a non-judgmental, empathetic, yet direct approach builds trust and supports you in beginning your healing process more effectively.
