I have experience treating depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, recovery from domestic violence, PTSD, grief, trauma, stress, life transitions, and substance addiction. My communication style My style is calm, personable, and easygoing. I provide a safe, non-judgmental space to process and heal from life’s challenges. I also incorporate humor into sessions as appropriate. My journey to mental healthcare My journey to becoming a therapist started as a child. I have always enjoyed helping people—I would give homeless people my allowance. I was told I am easy to talk with and comfortable to be around. My mom noted I would give the shirt off my back if needed. I brought home injured animals and put spiders outside. I practice co-existing and feel every life matters. My strong empathic side showed me that being a therapist was the right path. My goals for you I facilitate discussion of your prominent mental health symptoms and concerns. We will work together to create goals that align with your therapeutic needs and develop a plan to achieve them.
