Psychotherapist

Hi there, I'm Misty! Relationships can be the best and hardest parts of our lives. Whether that is our relationships with the people we love, or the ones we don't, our relationship with ourselves, or even our relationship with our therapist- they can bring great joy, complicated feelings, and opportunities to grow. My focus I have provided care to clients of all walks of life, experiencing every aspect of the joy and sorrow life can bring. These include military, veterans, first responders, and those diagnosed with anxiety, depression, and ADHD. My approach My approach to providing care comes from a relational system perspective. Everything is in relationship to something else. I walk with people through the complexities of their relationships. Not necessarily what happened, or what is wrong, but what is your relationship to it? Also, does anything need to change in the relationship? My communication style I strive to provide curious, open communication and meet clients from their point of view. The tone I attempt to set during treatment is one of safety and collaboration. My journey to mental healthcare My journey to becoming a provider began with community service and outreach through my faith as a young adult. These experiences evolved into a drive to become trained and educated as an ethical licensed provider to people of all walks of life and inclusive of all faiths and non-religious backgrounds. My goals for you I help clients reach their goals by staying in curious conversation and establishing a collaborative approach to care and treatment.
