Sharing our inner experiences with someone can often feel frightening, which is exactly why I place such importance on connection and acceptance in the therapeutic process. I aim to create a safe environment that invites my clients to delve deeper into their personal narrative, as I truly believe we are not built to process emotions alone. As humans, we all have a propensity to grow and become our true selves; unfortunately, we aren't always gifted with the circumstances to allow it. I am passionate about creating a space not only for self-discovery and self-acceptance but also to allow clients to feel seen, heard, and valued. I hold a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of San Francisco and earned my Bachelor's degree from the University of California San Diego. My approach My therapeutic approach tends to be eclectic, pulling from various theoretical frameworks including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, Schema Therapy, and Attachment-Based Therapy. I invite you on this wonderful, purposeful journey and look forward to meeting with you! My focus I honor and acknowledge that every client who walks through my door presents their own personalized and individual narratives. I specialize in treating those with eating disorders, poor body image, and self-esteem issues. I also have experience with individuals facing depression, anxiety, life transitions, relational issues, OCD, and attachment struggles. My communication style I approach all my clients from a place of compassion, curiosity, and complete acceptance. I also work a bit differently from other clinicians in the sense that I place a strong emphasis on retrieving feedback from my clients on how supported they feel in the therapeutic relationship.
