TX
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S) based in Texas, with a Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling from Texas A&M University. I approach therapy with an eclectic assortment of approaches and tools to individualize our work together and best meet your needs. My approach I utilize various modalities tailored to my clients’ needs, including interpersonal therapy, narrative therapy, CBT, family systems, attachment theories, trauma-informed care, mindfulness, and EFT for couples. My focus I enjoy working with adults, teenagers, children, families, and couples. My main goal is to assist each individual in becoming the best version of themselves while understanding that process. My experience includes treating depression, anxiety, grief, attachment disorder, substance abuse, obsessive-compulsive disorder, adjustment disorder, stress management, anger management, and post-traumatic stress disorder. My communication style I practice active listening with my clients and provide nonjudgmental, honest feedback. My goals when working with clients are to foster a safe space to challenge faulty thinking, improve coping skills, build resilience, and encourage adaptation to life’s challenges. My journey to mental healthcare I believe that everyone can benefit from counseling at some point in their life. We all face struggles with achieving our goals, understanding and overcoming hurtful life experiences, or resolving conflicts with others. It can be extremely helpful to have a compassionate, unbiased, and supportive person to talk to when these issues arise. My goals for you I view counseling as a respectful and collaborative partnership that helps clients recognize their strengths, identify their needs, understand conflicts, discover new options, set personal growth goals, and make informed choices.
