What should a new client know about working with you?

Struggling with life balance is a common experience that most of us women face at some point in our lives. There’s never enough time & there is only one of you. Sometimes we find ourselves wondering if we can keep it together just one more day. It’s hard to be successful when you feel burnt out, misunderstood, stuck at status quo, & like your relationships are strained to capacity. You need to know that it is possible to experience rest in your soul; that your life can be directed, meaningful & manageable. Stirring up hope & helping women realize their inner power is a great passion of mine. I provide a therapeutic approach that is warm, empathic, & supportive, and my style is collaborative & solution–focused, weaving various therapeutic modalities together to meet the specific & unique needs of every client. You can learn how to sit in the place of peace and contentment, realize your true potential, & grow in maturity. Imagine the possibility that your life could be more than just tolerable, but actually amazing! Let’s talk about how to fix this. It takes effort, but it can get better. You can be healthier!

What is your typical process for working with clients?

During your first appointment, we will get to know each other and I will complete an assessment to learn more about the issues you are facing. In your next appointment, we'll embark upon a collaborative process to create a plan for treatment for achieving your goals. Going forward, I'll use a combination of skill building, emotional processing, and somatic interventions to support your healing. Some of the modalities I use are psychoeducation, cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness training, somatic experiencing, brainspotting, Christian counseling and internal family systems.
