Moor Drammeh, LCPC

Psychotherapist
MD
Life brings moments of joy, success, pain, and uncertainty. In the midst of it all, many of us search for meaning and connection. I believe each day is an opportunity to discover more about ourselves and reconnect with our authentic identity. While healing isn’t always guaranteed, it becomes possible when we approach it with intention. The path toward wholeness can feel overwhelming, especially when we’re focused only on the destination. But healing is also about the journey—and the relationships formed along the way. I’d be honored to walk with you as you move toward a meaningful life and a deeper understanding of who you truly are. My therapeutic approach is rooted in Person-Centered therapy. I view clients as the experts of their own lives, and I come alongside them as a learner and supporter. I aim to create a space where people feel fully accepted—just as they are. Additionally, I incorporate modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Chaplaincy (spiritual care), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Existentialism.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I’ve been a licensed clinician for four years and counting, with prior experience mentoring Black male youth ages 5 to 19. In that role, I supported clients in reaching their goals through coaching, education, and connecting them to community resources. While my current focus is on adults navigating anxiety, trauma, and existential concerns, I also welcome the opportunity to support adolescents as they move through developmental transitions and seek independence.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I enter the therapeutic space by displaying open communication and a non-judgmental environment. I practice active and reflective listening. I encourage my clients to reflect on their experiences as I demonstrate empathetic understanding. If we’re working through something challenging, you can expect me to be a calm and non-anxious presence.
