I hold a Master?s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Alliant International University. I work with adults and specialize in relationships, anxiety, trauma, and major life transitions using Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and the Gottman Method to help clients make progress toward their goals. My approach I am client-centered and culturally sensitive. I primarily use Narrative Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy to explore clients? worldviews and collaborate on practical treatment goals. With couples, I use the Gottman Method and Solution-Focused Therapy to increase communication, intimacy, and relationship satisfaction. My focus My style fits adults and couples dealing with life transitions, often presenting as anxiety, depression, stress, interpersonal conflict, and relational dissatisfaction. I help clients navigate these adjustments and develop cognitive, behavioral, and emotional tools to reach their goals. My communication style I am warm, calm, and personable. Naturally curious, I enjoy listening to how people navigate life. I create a secure, compassionate space that promotes growth through authenticity without judgment. My journey to mental healthcare I became a therapist to help people grow and heal after trauma. As an educator, I witnessed youth make dramatic changes after learning to change how they think and act despite traumatic childhoods. I worked alongside two Black therapists who led that movement with the youth.
