Getting to know Mylo Jennings
"Hello, I'm Dr. Jennings, and I’m glad you’re here. With over 40 years of experience in the field, I’ve had the privilege of helping a diverse range of clients navigate their mental health journeys. Holding both the Licensed Independent Social Worker Supervisor (LISW-S) and Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor (LICDC) licenses in Ohio, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our sessions. My primary approach to therapy is existential, but I also integrate psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, interpersonal, and various mindfulness techniques to tailor our work to your unique needs. I believe that everyone needs a little help at times in their lives, and it is during these moments that a competent professional can be extremely beneficial. I specialize in treating OCD, depression, anxiety, and PTSD, but my practice also extends to a wide range of other areas including anger management, ADHD, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, children's and adolescent mental/behavioral health, dissociative disorders, eating disorders, gender identity, grief/bereavement, LGBTQIA+ support, life transitions, military/veteran support, phobias, intimate/romantic relationships, sex/intimacy issues, sleep disorders, somatic symptom disorder, stress, suicidal ideation and/or self-harming, and trauma.
