Psychotherapist

If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck in patterns that are hard to change, you’re not alone—and therapy can help you gain clarity and feel more in control. I am a licensed clinical psychologist with over 25 years of experience working with adults navigating anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, and major life transitions. I earned my Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) in School/Child Clinical Psychology from Yeshiva University’s Ferkauf Graduate School and completed an APA-approved clinical internship at St. Mary’s Children & Family Services. What sets my work apart is my advanced post-doctoral training in neuropsychology, which allows me to take a deeper, more comprehensive approach to understanding how thought patterns, emotions, and behavior are connected. This perspective helps clients not only cope, but truly understand why they feel and respond the way they do. My approach is warm, supportive, and collaborative. Many of my clients come in feeling unsure of where to start, and together we focus on building insight, strengthening coping skills, and creating meaningful, lasting change. I use evidence-based techniques to help you better understand your thoughts, manage emotions, and develop practical strategies you can apply in your daily life. Throughout my career, I’ve worked in private practice, mental health clinics, and residential treatment settings, providing individual and group therapy. This range of experience allows me to support clients through both everyday stressors and more complex emotional challenges. Starting therapy can feel like a big step, but my goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel comfortable being yourself. I tailor each session to your individual needs so you can feel more confident, supported, and equipped to move forward.
