I congratulate you on taking this bold step in your healing journey. I am well aware of the challenges involved in this process and I would be glad to assist you in finding your grounding and achieving your goals. My approach I am a board-certified Neuro-psychotherapist trained in the understanding and treatment of mental illness using the neuroscience approach. I am also a certified Trauma Specialist treating single and complex trauma. I also hold certificates in Cognitive Behavioral and Dialectical Behavioral therapy, as well as Integrative and Nutritional Medicine for mental health. I combine the above-listed treatment modalities, as well as motivational interviewing, mindfulness, and solution-focused therapy, in creating individualized, evidence-based treatment to support my clients in reaching their goals. My focus Although I specialize in trauma therapy, I also work with clients dealing with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, relationship issues, gender identity issues, grief and loss, as well as domestic violence, and life transitions. My communication style I prioritize clear, open communication to create a supportive, non-judgmental environment. I practice active listening and will give you opportunities to reflect on your experiences with you as an empathetic partner. If we’re working through something challenging, you can expect me to be calm and patient. My journey to mental healthcare I have always been intrigued by the impact of the interconnectivity of the human mind, our body, and our social environment. This insatiable curiosity and my passion to engage and support others influenced my decision to become a Neuro-Psychotherapist. My goals for you I strive to create a safe, welcoming, non-judgmental environment to foster growth, and healing for every client I work with.
