Psychotherapist
7222 Cermak Rd, Ste 703, North Riverside, IL
I am a licensed professional counselor who has been privileged with my experience of fostering growth within an expansive range of uniquely diverse populations; ages ranging from 17 to 95. I enjoy helping others access joy for who they are now and facilitating connection with who they long to be. This is why I use a person-centered approach when working with individuals from all walks of life. This involves us working together to curate our session cohesively within your own unique strengths, identities, and personal values. Within my therapy tool box I have an integrative assortment of CBT, ACT, Existential, Narrative, and Psychodynamic modalities available. Together with these tools we can build a foundation to support and actualize your goals for the future. My personal philosophy is that no storm of your past or present, no matter how destructive, can uproot the aspirations you’ve planted for your future. Through time together, we can grow the seeds of your dreams into branches of reality you can grasp with confidence. I received my Bachelor’s from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2021, with a double major in Philosophy and Clinical Psychology. I then earned my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Northwestern University in 2024. My experience at Bette. D Harris Family and Child Clinic graciously afforded me the chance to passionately serve minority, LGBTQ2IA+, and other unjustly marginalized communities within the transformative power of psychotherapy. Afterwards, I gained further experience at a group private practice working with individual clients and couples around a variety themes. Including, but not limited to men’s issues, queer issues, relationships, anxiety, trauma and grief. As a therapist with immigrant parents I also have personal experience supporting clients of immigrant backgrounds with various issues that may arise when navigating one’s cultural identities within America.
