Psychotherapist
CA
I am passionate about helping individuals of every age manage their mental health in ways that are unique to their needs and goals. I use a client-centered approach that empowers individuals to take control of their inner experiences and improve the quality of relationships in a way that is meaningful to them. For 20 years, I have provided therapeutic services to children from birth through adolescence, adults, couples, and families, including parent-child psychotherapy and a variety of groups focused on specific mental health issues. I hold a PhD in Clinical Child Psychology from Reiss-Davis Graduate School, which informs my specialized work with prenatal, perinatal, and postpartum depression in women, infant and early childhood mental health, attachment, parenting, and childhood trauma. Additionally, I provide treatment for children, teens, and adults struggling with depression, anxiety, deficient self-esteem, ADD/ADHD, behavioral difficulties, mood disorders, relationship issues, transitional life distress, various traumas, cancer and COVID patients and survivors, and loss. Difficult emotions, grief, current stressors, or past traumas can get in the way of experiencing life to its fullest. In therapy, I provide a safe and supportive place to share your concerns and offer helpful guidance and interventions. Together, we change the things that get in the way of your long-term goals and work toward building a life of success and happiness.
