I am a compassionate therapist dedicated to helping individuals navigate challenges such as depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship issues, life transitions, and recovering from narcissistic abuse. My approach My therapy is personalized and collaborative, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Schema Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. I create a safe environment to identify and change negative thought and behavior patterns, regulate emotions, and make positive choices for the future. My focus I work with clients experiencing depression, anxiety, family or relationship issues, exploring career options or changes, and interested in making positive life changes. My communication style I provide an open, warm, and nonjudgmental environment so clients feel safe, seen, and heard. My journey to mental healthcare I see life as a journey with stops, starts, choices, and changes of direction. It's never too early or late to take inventory of one's life and seek new approaches for different outcomes. Working with people along this journey and seeing change drives me. My goals for you I let clients identify their own goals and what they want to accomplish, using the SMART goal approach. My first session with you The first session focuses on building rapport and discussing confidentiality, boundaries, attendance, and therapy expectations. Clients are encouraged to share what brought them to therapy and their goals, and together, we discuss how to achieve success in the therapy journey.
