“Natalie has been a lifeline for my mental health as a woman of color. With so much unrest going on in the world day to day, I know I can count on my session with her to be my respite and peace from the outside noise. She is kind, patient, and always ready and willing to offer up solutions/give you a different perspective on any situation you may be going through. As someone who lives with a layered racial identity (Afro-Latina), she comes with wisdom on how to navigate life's curveballs. I've had other therapists who just sit and listen session after session without giving me any advice or welcomed commentary on how I should approach certain situations. With Natalie I feel heard, seen, and most of all safe. ”

My approach is solution-focused and person -centered. We work together at your pace, toward your goals, in your own words. I believe you are the expert of your own life--I am simply here to walk alongside you during the moment that feels heaviest. I bring warmth, realness and my own PHD of life into every session--and I encourage you to bring yours. No judgement here. Your humanity is welcome in this room. I specialize in trauma, depression, anxiety, grief, life transitions and crisis. I also have a deep understanding of cultural identity and the unique experience of Latinx communities and communities of color. Finding a therapist can be incredibly challenging, so I’m very grateful to have found Natalie Ayala. I personally prefer a solution focused approach to therapy, where there is genuine curiosity about the topic at hand rather than simply discussing feelings without direction. Natalie creates a space that feels warm, compassionate, and supportive, while also being honest and willing to hold up a mirror when needed. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a clinician who balances empathy with thoughtful insight.
Excellent therapist who is compassionate, insightful, and easy to talk to. Natalie creates a welcoming environment that has helped me make real progress. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a supportive and knowledgeable therapist.
