When you're managing burnout, brain fog and ADHD, it's ok if managing stops being enough. It's ok to want your symptoms to be taken seriously. It's exhausting trying to find a therapist who truly understands. Someone you don't have to explain yourself to. Someone who knows what Post Exertional Malaise is. Someone who sees beyond the overwhelm, the masking, and sees you. Many therapists have lived experience with this (as do I ;), but very few receive deep training in cognition. This is where I can help the most, as I started working with people like us long before I became a therapist and actually hold multiple licenses.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Beginning therapy can feel like a lot, so my goal is to make it more approachable. There's no pressure to dive into the hard stuff or share anything you're not ready to. Instead, we'll move at a pace that feels comfortable, spending time getting to know each other, talking about your goals, what you're hoping for, and how I can best support you. You are the expert on you. Mostly, I want you to leave our first session with greater clarity, a sense of direction, and confidence that you won't have to navigate this journey alone.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I work with Adults of all ages (18+), individuals who value growth, exploration, and healing, survivors of trauma, and people whose brains and bodies work differently. I also support the people who love and support those with different abilities, and my practice is allied and affirming for the LGBTQ+ population. Individual therapy only. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, strengths-based approaches, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, mindfulness and somatic approaches, nature-based approaches, and ADHD coaching.
