Getting to know Natalie Marshall

I help people find freedom when dealing with trauma, life transitions, codependency, body shame, anxiety, and depression. I specialize in working with foster and adoptive parents. Do you find yourself feeling overwhelmed? Do you feel like your friends and family don't quite understand what you are going through? On top of typical parenting tasks, you are dealing with the frustrations of navigating the child welfare system. Therapy is your space to vent and process what you are going through. It's common for foster parents to experience higher levels of anxiety due to more stress and the many unknowns that come with fostering and adoption. You deserve to have your needs met while meeting the needs of the people who are relying on you. I hold a Master's in Social Work from Boise State University and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Utah, which equip me to support you through these challenges with empathy and expertise.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I believe you deserve to have your story heard without judgment. I can show you meaningful ways to thrive as a parent by engaging with your life, rather than coasting through numb and overwhelmed. It is my passion to walk with you so you know you are not alone and show you practical tools to take care of your emotional health.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I would be honored to sit with you and gently guide you on the path to peace and joy in your life.

Misleading. Booked appointment and was then told they weren’t taking new patients and communication from office was horrible.
