Getting to know Natalie Milom

I join you on the journey to becoming the YOU that you want to be. I help you learn how to show up in the world authentically and unapologetically, without the need to code switch around different people, including family. I help you clarify what is important to you, add people and things that support your values, and remove those that don’t. In addition to the general practice of psychotherapy, I specialize in working with individuals surviving traumatic experiences that occurred within the context of relationships. These could have been physical, sexual, or emotional abuse and/or neglect. These root experiences often show up in our daily lives within our relationships and social contexts. As a trauma expert, I help individuals and families learn how to build healthier relationships with themselves and the important people in their lives. My work focuses on targeting negative beliefs that are often felt deeply inside our bodies, despite our logical knowledge that they are not the truth. Yet, they still color our perceptions and feelings. I believe in taking a collaborative approach with you to reach your goals. You are not alone! You’ve taken the first step. I hold a Master’s in Social Work from the University of South Carolina, Columbia, which has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to support you effectively. Now, take the next step so we can get you the right tools and support to win within! Click the link to request an appointment today!

Her demeanor wasn’t my cup of tea and if someone’s going to counsel my child then I have to feel they have great energy. The paperwork process is horrible. She stated I hadn’t completed anything and so I’m not quite sure what I filled out with the 15 emails I received which was complete overkill. I wouldn’t recommend for my family, however, she may work fine for someone else.
