Natasha Billups, LMFT

Psychotherapist
CA
Hi there, I'm Natasha! Welcome! My name is Natasha Billups, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Master's in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University. I have 16 years of licensed experience and a strong belief that we all desire to live well. When circumstances arise that threaten our ability to live well, we must stop, refocus, and begin again. I would like to support you and/or your family through that process. I have a wealth of experience working with individuals, children, and families. If you find that you have experienced a life-changing event-such as marriage, birth, divorce, a new or ending job, or death-and would like support during the transition, I can help. I am well versed in treating depression, anxiety, grief and loss, behavioral issues in children and adolescents, couples counseling, and family counseling to address relational issues. My approach I use an eclectic approach to treatment, tailoring it to the needs of each individual. This includes, but is not limited to, cognitive behavioral therapy, family systems, narrative, and solution-focused techniques. My focus I typically work with clients encountering symptoms of depression, anxiety, ADHD, work and life transitions, grief and loss, parenting difficulties, family conflict, relationship challenges, and premarital and marriage counseling. I also bring the unique experience of having worked in law enforcement and am comfortable treating first responders. My communication style I strive to create a safe space for clients to explore their thoughts and feelings. I am open to providing feedback when asked, making therapy an interactive and collaborative space. My journey to mental healthcare I have a strong desire to support clients in improving and optimizing their lives so they can live freely and reach their fullest potential.
