Getting to know Natasha Davis

Therapy is a space where you should feel seen, heard, respected, and understood. I use an integrative approach that draws from evidence-informed therapies to help clients better understand themselves, recognize their strengths, develop practical coping strategies, and work toward meaningful and sustainable change. My goal is to create a supportive environment where you can explore challenges, build insight, and feel more empowered in your life.

What should a new client know about working with you?

You do not need to have everything figured out before starting therapy. I want our work together to feel safe, supportive, and free from judgment or pressure. My style is warm, compassionate, collaborative, and individualized. Rather than using the same approach with every client, we will work together to identify what feels most helpful for you. Therapy may include exploring past experiences, understanding patterns in thoughts and relationships, building healthier coping strategies, practicing mindfulness, strengthening communication, or focusing on practical solutions to current concerns. Your values, culture, identity, and goals will be respected throughout our work.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Our first sessions are focused on getting to know you and understanding what brings you to therapy. We will discuss your current concerns, relevant experiences, relationships, strengths, support systems, and what you hope to accomplish. Together, we will identify meaningful treatment goals and determine which therapeutic approaches may best support you. As therapy continues, sessions may involve talking through current concerns, exploring patterns and past experiences, developing coping skills, practicing mindfulness, identifying solutions, and building on your existing strengths. We will regularly assess what is and is not working and adjust our approach as needed. Therapy is a partnership, and you will have an active role in shaping the direction of our work.
