"Hello, I'm Natasha, and I'm here to support you on your journey to mental wellness. I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of North Florida, with a minor in Criminal Justice, and a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Southern California, concentrating on Children and Families. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I bring several years of experience working with individuals facing a variety of mental health challenges, including depressive and anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, PTSD, grief and loss, and stress management. My approach to therapy is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which is based on the idea that changing the way one thinks can transform associated feelings and behaviors. I believe that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to mental health, and I am committed to tailoring my methods to meet each client's unique needs. My passion lies in helping adults improve their overall mental health and quality of life, working to decrease mental health symptoms that may act as barriers to achieving a sense of well-being. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with a diverse range of clients, including victims of domestic violence, children and families in foster care, and individuals with co-occurring substance abuse and mental health disorders. My professional journey has also included roles such as Clinical Supervisor, where I trained staff on evidence-based interventions, and Program Supervisor for a non-profit community mental health agency, where I developed mental health and substance abuse programs for underserved communities. As the Director of Court Services for a local community health agency, I created programs to support individuals with co-occurring disorders and drug-related offenses, earning the 'Game Changer' Award for my dedication and innovative client-centered approach in 2019.
