Natasha Prime, LCSW

Psychotherapist
CA
Hello! My name is Natasha, and I have been working with young people and their families in California for 30 years. I hold a Master’s in Social Work from California State University, Long Beach. I am passionate about helping people navigate the trials and tribulations of life and uncover the strengths that are often already within them. I use a systems-based approach, considering all factors that may be impacting a person in crisis—whether individual, family, peers, community, work, school, gender, substance use, culture, or social media influences—to help them find a more fulfilling way to live. My therapy style is eclectic, borrowing from many different schools of thought to best fit my clients' needs. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness techniques for shorter, solution-focused treatment such as anxiety or depression. For lengthier and more complex issues like trauma, I employ a more psychodynamic approach. I am client-centered and very relational in my interactions. Some of my guiding principles include Unconditional Positive Regard, harm reduction, kindness, and compassion above all. And of course, always a healthy dose of humor, which can be found even in the darkest of times. I look forward to joining you on your journey to a healthier and happier self.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
