“Natasha is lovely. The first session I had with her I felt like we already knew each other. She has a really nice balance of sitting with your heavy feelings and incorporating humor in a way that feels like your feelings are not invalidated or dismissed. She's also sent me resources in between sessions, which always makes me feel like she cares and thinks of her patients beyond just the sessions together. I would wholeheartedly recommend her to others.”

Getting to know Natasha Stebbins

Hi! I'm Natasha, a BIPOC therapist, Latinx female, licensed clinical social worker, and mental health practitioner with 18 years of experience. I earned my Master’s in Social Work from California State University, Los Angeles. Whether life has been a series of challenges and struggles or has just jolted you with a massive shift or shake-up, I'm here to work with you. Each of us faces different adversities, and our responses to those experiences can differ based on our strengths and supports. I'm a strong believer that we each possess the superpowers we need not only to survive but to thrive. Sometimes we lose sight of our superpowers, other times we have yet to discover them, and many times it is the very trait we (or others) have identified as a weakness that turns out to be our biggest source of strength. Let's work together to explore your challenges and (re)engage your strength and resiliency to get you to where you want to be. No matter the feeling, no matter the moment, we will work on finding, developing, strengthening, and empowering YOU so that you can create the roadmap to head in the direction you desire on this journey of life.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My approach is client-centered and authentic. I believe that you are your own best expert, and I am here to share tools and practices to enhance your best self. I begin by developing my understanding of what brought you to therapy. Why now? What's changed? How is this isimpacting you, your goals and your current life? We will explore what you hope to achieve in therapy and collaboratively develop a plan to achieve those goals. Then, you will set the agenda of the session by choosing an area to focus on, either based on a current/past situation, to process the reason/symptoms that brought you to therapy and work on implementing new skills to approach the situation differently. We will also take time to reflect on how the session topic is supporting your overall goal in therapy. Additionally, I approach each client and each session with flexibility and wonder so that we can best meet your needs on your journey to wellness.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
