UpLift Behavioral Health providers do not issue prescriptions for substances controlled by any federal or state agency or other drugs that may be harmful because of their potential for abuse. UpLift Behavioral Health reserves the right to limit the types of medications that may be prescribed by its doctors and nurse practitioners. All prescriptions furnished by UpLift Behavioral Health care providers are issued in accordance with applicable federal and state law as well as UpLift Behavioral Health policy. I began my career in human services, counseling and supervising at a busy outpatient treatment facility serving substance use clients with co-occurring disorders. During the seven years I worked with high-risk clients, I realized that many people need more time to heal in order to be successful. The idea of change is often intimidating and scary; however, I believe that with proper motivation and guidance, clients have the best chance for positive outcomes. I hold a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Hodges University and have extensive training and experience working with SUD clients. I am also a Master Certified Addiction Professional (MCAP). I view therapy as a collaborative relationship, which allows clients to transform into their best selves.
