“She is very knowledgeable in couples counseling. In our first session with her, she brought up all the topics that we will be going over during the next few sessions. Without mentioning it to her, those topics were issues that my partner and I struggled with internally before meeting with her. So we knew, we were in good hands with Nelly. I felt like Nelly actively listens to our concerns and has taught us how to use language to better communicate with each other. She also has opened our perspective to our partner's struggles from their point of view. I highly believe in the few sessions with Nelly, my relationship with my partner has significantly improved.”

I am Nelly Johnson, licensed in California and Nevada as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I hold a Master's in Counseling Psychology from Texas A&M University. Although I am a therapist, I want you to know that I am a real person, and my approach to therapy is more of a mentor and coach rather than just "your therapist." More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
