Hello, I'm Nereida. I hold a Master's in Social Work from the University of Southern California. I help children, adolescents, and adults heal from psychological trauma and anxiety symptoms. I believe in using a team approach to guide you toward creating the change you want in your life. In our sessions, you can expect a nonjudgmental and compassionate space where we use evidence-based techniques to help you navigate challenges and develop effective strategies. I look forward to working with you.

What should a new client know about working with you?

After your first session, we will have established a clear goal to help you begin creating change in your life. As we work together you will experience feeling heard, learn strategies to disrupt and change the behaviors you are experiencing, and have open and honest conversation about your progress. At the end of therapy you will feel that you have gained skills to help you to continue to grow into the healthiest person you can be.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
