What should a new client know about working with you?

My approach to therapy is rooted in empathy, compassion, and humor. I focus on clients' strengths to help them utilize coping skills that work best for them! I strive to create a safe & supportive environment where laughter leads to resilience.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Assessment: Our first session together will include completing an intake interview. We'll also begin formulating your treatment plan so I can better understand your concerns, goals, and history. Goal Setting: We'll collaborate to set achievable therapy goals. Don't worry—your treatment plan is a "living document" that can be updated whenever you want! Intervention: I'll provide evidence-based strategies tailored to your needs that you can practice between sessions. Progress Monitoring: We will regularly evaluate progress towards your goals. Adjustment: As mentioned above, we can modify interventions as needed based on your feedback. Termination: Gradually conclude therapy as goals are achieved. Follow-Up: Offer support and resources post-therapy if necessary.
