Nicolas Gudino is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with over 15 years of clinical experience. He earned a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Bradley University. Nicolas is certified as a National Certified Counselor through NBCC. He has experience working with individuals of all ages facing mood disorders, anxiety, chronic and severe mental illness, and addiction. His background includes providing services in child welfare, residential substance abuse, community mental health, crisis intervention, and acute inpatient psychiatric settings. Nicolas often utilizes techniques based in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Existential Therapy to guide individuals toward self-determination and self-actualization. He values client input and considers their needs when identifying appropriate therapy strategies. He works collaboratively with clients to develop and master skills and tools to address those needs. Nicolas believes in encouraging clients to find their own meaning in experiences and take actions that may lead to increased fulfillment in life.

AMAZING therapist!! He makes therapy feel like a regular conversation, he gets to the root cause of your issues, doesn't just address the surface problems. He's so smart and it's like giving him a puzzle (my issues) and then him just solving it on the spot. Very impressive
